In clasa a-XI-a aveam deja planul facut : Bucuresti, Economia Mediului, Camin, in anul 2 aplic pentru bursa Erasmus, calatoresc…

Am facut voluntariat in VIP (Voluntari pentru Idei si Proiecte), o asociatie studenteasca fabuloasa, unde  in mod deosebit, am pus umarul si dedicarea in organizarea unui proiect numit Business School.

Daca ati ajuns pana aici, multumesc!

English

I was born and raised in Iasi, Romania. I used to spend my holidays at my grandparents’, in the countryside, in a cool village called Lunca Banului, very close to Husi.

I loved going to school, learning and proving that I can do lots of things, all until highschool, where I started to have self introspection and started learning things about me, my real passions, my interests. I’ve studied the first 8 years of school in my neighborhood, @“Elena Cuza General School”, then I’ve chosen “Costache Negruzzi National College” as my highschool, which actually was a marvelous experience.

I studied Mathematiques-Informatiques-Bilingual English, with interest in Debate, Geography, Journalism, English-English and then again, English, Business simulations and some Essay writing, during that period. By the time I was in the 11th grade, I had my plan for College: Bucharest, Environmental Economics, Dorm, 2nd year of faculty-apply to Erasmus grants, travel abroad…

I came to Bucharest on my own, in 2004, as a symbol that I can make it anywhere, even in the jungle, as my dad used to relate to me. I was happy to enter second in my faculty Environmental Economics, at the Academy of Economic Studies in 2004 and first on the dorms’ list. This helped me tremendously, because I really wanted to be in a room that has its’ private bathroom, not a shared one. I know, whims 🙂

My dad used to make fun of me that I would eat food from the jars and I kept telling him that I will respect my meals and eat them from a proper plate…by the second month of college, I was already eating directly from the “zacusca jars”, that mom/grandma/my aunt would sent me.

I volunteered in VIP ( Volunteers for Ideas and Project), an awesome student association organising a Business School project. I’ve learnt so much from volunteering, but if I am to resume to one sentence is this :  “The expression I can’t does not exist”. Later on, after I started working on a career path, I’ve missed volunteering and joined the Youth Chapter of IAA (International Advertising Association), where again, I met remarkable people, adding great experiences to my build.

I am a business addict, a start-up child and an innate helper, many times a workaholic. I have very long stories about my jobs, my choices and learnings, but  here, I’ll tell you that my first job was at Elevate, an Indoor Advertising Start-up. Back then “indoor advertising” barely started to exist in Romania, so I had some contribution to it. Then, I switched for a more international adventure and I set up a Romanian branch for an Asian Indoor Advertising Company, but this time focused on retail and FMCG. Let me tell you, there it was the real jungle and maybe some cannibals too :))) . Afterwards, I stepped into IT area, dealing with marketing & sales for a Biometric Recognition Platform and my most recent, back to main land, at Omniconvert, where marketing meets IT in a CRO Tool designed to improve e-commerce targets.

Above all, I must say, the most fulfilling experience is the story of my small family, which is beibg built as from a dream, together with my very dear, now husband of mine. We used to be friends since highschool, me living in Iasi, him in Galati, we met at a Multimedia Camp in Baia Mare and we fell in love as a couple in Bucharest, where we started to unfold this amazing story, for which I am grateful day in day out. We have a great story to tell our grandchildren, that even without us being a couple, he was telling me ” not to worry, you’ll marry me one day”.

I am a happy , fulfilled wife, blessed mother of 3( a young missy and 2 boys) with joy and sincere smile on my face. Whenever ordinary takes me down, I always have my second shot, because I’m able to regenerate self-motivation and determination to be better than yesterday and to carry on my mission of living beautifully.

I write with passion, because I believe in sharing, love to be helpful and to come up with solutions or ideas for a nice & easy living.

If you got to read till here, thank you! 😉
